At Recruit IT we believe your privacy is important. We know that providing personal information is an act of trust and we promise to take it seriously.
All Directors and staff will comply at all times with their obligations and responsibilities under the Privacy Act 1988 and the Privacy Amendment (Private Sector) Act 2000.
Your information will be stored in our in-house database which has restricted access. Your information is accessible on request to Recruit IT and will not be disclosed to our clients without your consent. Our clients are individuals or organisations for whom we recruit.
Type of Personal Information Held
Recruit IT only collects information which we perceive to be relevant in assisting candidates in their job search.
This may include information such as the following: name, address, e-mail address, telephone number, work history and skills, relevant qualification(s), salary expectation.
Any other information that will assist in building client and business relationships.
Data Quality
Prior to the use and disclosure of personal information, reasonable steps will be taken to ensure that personal information is relevant and to the extent necessary, complete, accurate and up-to-date for the purpose for which it is to be used.
Data Security
Recruit IT strive to protect such information but cannot ensure the security of any information you transmit from our online services and you do so at your own risk.
Recruit IT is committed to safeguarding all personal information gained in course of job applications. Only those with an authorised requirement have access to the candidates and contractors information.
Access and Correction
If you believe that personal or sensitive information that we hold regarding you is not complete and up-to-date/current, accurate, we will take reasonable steps to correct it so that it is accurate, complete and up-to-date.��In some cases it may be necessary for Recruit IT to contact you via email.
Subject to some exceptions that are set out in the National Privacy Principles, you can gain access to the personal information that we hold about you.
We will refuse access if it would interfere with the privacy rights of other persons or if it breaches any confidentiality that attaches to that information.
Sensitive Information
Recruit IT will not collect sensitive information unless you have consented to its collection or it is required by law.
